Civil Air Patrol

  • The Jack Schofield Cadet Squadron (PCR-NV-802) is part of the Civil Air Patrol and is designed to provide youth (ages 11-20) training in followership, leadership, aerospace education, communication, and emergency services.
  • Cadets receive training in these areas by participating in local and wing level activities that occur throughout the year.

  • Provide support to the National Office of the Chief Nurse/Nursing and Health. Assist with support functions to ensure smooth operations.

Community Emergency Response Team Member / Instructor

Jun 2017 – Present

  • This is a program under the Department of Homeland Security that provides training for the population of the United States to assist in the recovery after a disaster or terrorist attack.
  • When emergencies happen, CERT members can give critical support to first responders, provide immediate assistance to victims, and organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site.
  • CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the community.
