Merit-based program for cadets pursuing a private pilot certificate; ultra-competitive... new diamond of cadet life

Must meet basic eligibility requirements:

Be a current CAP Cadet in good standing.

Apply via CadetInvest in eServices.
How to Apply:

Log onto eServices.

From the CAP Utilities on the left side, select "Cadet Programs," and then select the "CadetInvest" application

Go through each of the five steps, making sure you complete everything.

Skip step 6, no Supplemental documents needed for Cadet Wings applicants. Be sure to check upload requirements, if applying for any other programs or scholarships.

Go to even step 7 and submit the application prior to the published deadline.
Ideal Applicants would have or should be working on the following:

Aircraft Ground Handling--Currency of Aircraft Ground Handling in eServices (within past 2 years)

Student Pilot Certificate--Current FAA Student Pilot Certificate

FAA Medical Certificate--At least an FAA Class III Medical Certificate (if applicable, not needed for glider).

Solo Endorsement-- Solo endorsement does not need to be in the same type of aircraft to be considered an ideal candidate.

FAA Airman Knowledge Test a/k/a written test-- Passing score, if you are a Young Eagle you may be eligible for reimbursement of your written test.

Exhibiting the potential for continued CAP services as a Cadet Leader.
